Civil engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the physical environment and consists of a number of sub-disciplines. During the course of their work, civil engineers often need to visit the site of the project, and while doing so, may be exposed to asbestos dust from the operations going on there. When civil engineers are involved in asbestos removal, they also need to take special precautions in order to protect themselves from asbestos dust. Thus, certain specific guidelines need to be followed in asbestos removal in order to protect the environmental engineer from Mesothelioma and asbestos-related diseases.
