A. Purpose. This instruction transmits revised and new pages to theRegulatory and General Industry SAVEs Manual for "Occupational Exposure toAsbestos, Tremolite, Anthophyllite, and Actinolite."

B. Scope. This instruction applies OSHA-wide.

1. Corrections and Technical Amendments to the final rule werepublished in the Federal Register, Vol. 53, No. 178, pages 35610-35629 onSeptember 14, 1988; Vol. 54, No. 243, pages 52024-52028 on December 20,1989; and Vol. 55, No.24 on February 5, 1990.
