Hello, I'm Larry Cohan, and I manage our firm's Toxic Tort Litigation Department. Toxic torts are claims that grow out of injuries that people sustain after having been exposed to chemicals. We represent individuals injured from a variety of toxic exposures, including lead, benzene, mold and asbestos.

For example, asbestos exposure is a well-recognized cause of serious lung disease. For almost 25 years, Anapol Schwartz has been representing the interest of the victims of asbestos exposure. The symptoms often don't show up for 15 to 40 years. Although the asbestos companies knew that their product was deadly, no warnings or protection was provided to literally millions of workers who had to handle asbestos every day. If you or someone you know worked in any building, construction or other trade before 1980, you may have had exposure to asbestos. A simple x-ray will show it.
